Working
with universities and colleges is a two-way
exchange of knowledge. We feel we are able to
learn from students as well as share our knowledge
with them.
Through
the Loop has ongoing arrangements with EAP-ESCP
European School of Management in Oxford to employ
business students for ten week placements and with
the University of Greenwich to take a one-year
sandwich placement student from the BA Business
Studies course.
For
both of these organisations and Kingston
University, Through the Loop has sponsored
projects and marketing prizes. The sponsored
project with EAP students provides an input of new
research into the Knowledge Development Programme
as well as the chance to work with a
multi-cultural group of students. Recent projects
have included A Culture of Trust looking at
sources of trust and authority and the Development
of the Smart Home. Some of the learning from these
projects can be fed into client research as well
as areas such as Loop newsletters.
